Tax Manager
Under the direction of the owner, the tax manager implements client tax plans by managing tax engagements; recommending federal, state, and local, tax strategies, positions, returns, and payments; researching tax strategies; developing new business; supervising staff. The qualified applicant will have over seven years experience in public accounting. BS in Accounting and CPA Certification required, Masters in accounting or taxation preferred. Critical skills include supervisory and mentoring skills, tax and financial skills, financial software (Lacerte & QuickBooks), analyzing information, general math skills, reporting research results, research skills, informing others, oral & written communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to understand the big picture are essential.
